BLOOD SIMPLE

BLOOD SIMPLE

The Coen Brothers’ feature length debut – while unapologetically violent and at times slipping into horror and thriller territory – already shines with their penchant for quirky, black humour. The story follows rich and jealous bar owner Julian (Dan Heyada) as he hires a private detective to kill his wife and her lover. Duplicity overflows in this tale of double crosses, miscommunication and terse disregard for life which earned the Coens early accolades and spectacularly launched their career.
