Gentleman’s agreement

Winner of a three Academy Awards including Best Picture, this is the story of journalist Philip Schuylar Green (Gregory Peck) on an assignment from his editor charged with the task of writing about the state of Anti-Semitism in America. Pretending to be Jewish himself, Green finds Anti-Semitism in unexpected places, including his Jewish secretary (June Havoc) and his fiancée Kathy (Dorothy McGuire) while finding support from fashion editor Anne (Celeste Holm) and his Jewish boyhood pal Dave (John Garfield).
