Curse of the Gothic Symphony

Curse of the Gothic Symphony

English composer, Havergal Brian called his 1920s symphony ‘cursed’ as it is rarely performed, mainly due to the massive logistical challenge of getting together two orchestras, four brass bands and five choirs.  This charming doc follows the ambitious plan to perform ‘The Gothic Symphony’ in Brisbane in 2010, complete with eccentric musicians and an imaginative graphical rendering of the curse.
