COVID-19 / Novel Coronavirus Update:

After review of the current health advice, we feel a duty of care to our staff and patrons and to the community at-large to encourage social-distancing and keep the curve of contagion as flat as possible: as such, we have come to the decision to suspend all Mercury Cinema exhibition programs commencing Tuesday 17th March.

Our Seniors on Screen and Adelaide Cinémathèque programs will be postponed, to be rescheduled at a later date, depending on the status of the contagion and corresponding Australian and South Australian Government directives. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you updated through our social media, newsletters, and online. Feel free to contact us at [email protected] or at (08) 8410 0979.

All tickets pre-purchased for upcoming general admission screenings will be happily exchanged once we reopen. If you have purchased a ticket online you will be added to our comp list for future use, and you will be contacted shortly to this effect.

This has been a difficult decision, but in viewing simulation models around best practice, we this the most proactive and responsible action at this time. The Board and Staff of The Mercury wish you all continued good health and look forward to seeing you when we reopen, in the not too distant future.
